Leak repair
Windscreen leaking? We'll find it and seal it
Damp carpets, a wet dash or water dripping from the headlining after rain usually mean the windscreen seal has failed. It's often fixable without new glass.
The short answer
If the glass is undamaged, a windscreen leak can usually be fixed by removing the screen, cleaning the frame and refitting it with fresh adhesive or new rubber. If the glass is damaged too, a replacement fixes both.

Frequently asked questions
Can a windscreen leak be fixed without replacing the glass?
Often, yes, if the glass is intact and comes out cleanly.
Is rust around the windscreen a problem?
Light surface rust can be treated during a refit. Serious rust needs panel repair before the glass goes back in.
