Reseals & custom work
Windscreen reseals, leak repairs and custom glass
If water is getting in around an undamaged windscreen or rear window, the seal is usually the problem, not the glass. We reseal and refit screens on site, including rubber-set glass on older vehicles and custom glass for machinery and specialty vehicles.
The short answer
If water leaks in around undamaged glass, the seal is usually at fault and the screen can be removed and refitted with fresh adhesive or new rubber. We also fit rubber-set glass on classics and source custom or cut-to-size glass for machinery, motorhomes and specialty vehicles across South East Queensland.

Signs your windscreen seal has failed
- Damp carpets or water on the dash after rain.
- Wind noise from the edge of the screen at speed.
- Rust or bubbling paint around the windscreen frame.
- Perished, cracked or shrinking rubber on older vehicles.
Custom and hard-to-find glass
Machinery cabs, motorhomes, modified vehicles and restorations often use glass that can't be ordered off the shelf. Tell us what you're working with and we'll find or arrange the right glass and fit it properly.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fix a leaking windscreen without replacing it?
Often, yes. If the glass is intact, removing the screen and refitting it with fresh adhesive or new rubber can stop the leak. If the glass is damaged too, a replacement is the better option.
Do you work on rubber-set classic windscreens?
Yes. See our classic car windscreen page for more on restorations.
