The short answer
Rapid Response Autoglass is a mobile auto glass business based on Brisbane's Southside. What we do
Repair or replace?
Not every damaged windscreen needs replacing. Repair is quicker and cheaper and keeps the original factory seal, but it only suits small damage. Here's how we decide:
- Small chips away from the edge and outside the driver's line of sight can usually be repaired.
- Long cracks, damage near the edge of the glass or multiple chips usually need a replacement.
- Smashed side windows and rear screens are toughened glass and are always replaced.
- Leaks around an intact screen can often be fixed with a reseal.
Every service is mobile
There is no workshop drop-off. Our vans carry the glass, adhesives and tooling to do the job where the vehicle is parked — whether that's a driveway in Logan, a depot in Ipswich or a crane yard at the port.
We cover Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and Redlands. See all service areas.

Frequently asked questions
Can my chip be repaired, or does the windscreen need replacing?
As a rough guide, a small chip — about the size of a twenty-cent coin or smaller — that isn't on the edge of the glass or directly in the driver's line of sight can often be repaired. Long cracks, edge damage and smashed glass need a replacement. Send a photo and we'll tell you which.
Do you really come to me?
Yes. Every job is mobile. We work at homes, workplaces, depots, car parks and worksites across South East Queensland, so you don't need to drive a damaged vehicle anywhere.
Can I claim my windscreen on insurance?
Many comprehensive policies include glass cover, sometimes with a reduced or waived excess. Check with your insurer first, then let us know your insurer and claim number when you book so the paperwork lines up.
How do I get a quote?
